Yesterday was kinda weird. The two inquisitor bounties were 20(+10), one was easy (North Kryta Province) the other was a short trip but a total PITA.
The third bounty was 10(+5) and involved going all the way to Kessex Peak?!
Must be a usage of the word "balanced" that I was not previously aware of

Refuse to do them and A-Net will be forced to buff them up. The second last update made people very happy, the last update undid everything people were unhappy about.

I doubt the 20+10 quests were "daily" quests, they were rather different so I would say those were one-off storyline quests and we'll probably see more of those.
Personally I find the balance to be decent now.
EDIT: Actually they obviously were special quests since the mobs are only there if you have the quest, where as the daily ones are always there.

Take into account that you are fighting regular soldiers for the 4 War Supplies. Then Inquisitors for 30 War Supplies and the self-proclaimed "Justicar" for 15 War Supplies.
It doesn't matter where you have to go to kill them, but based more on their ranks and where they stand with the White Mantle. I'm sure you won't be making 15-30 War Supplies for killing a simple soldier. They are miniscule compared to the the others who offer higher bounties.

Refusing to do something in game isn't going to force Anet to change anything. You're talking about every single player in GW making a personal stand against Anet for what? A quest? You can't force Anet to change if you choose not to do a quest.

The Inquisitor bounties are not daily. They can be picked up at any time and so far have not reset.

I'd expect at least two more to be added in the future.
So far we had to fight against Inquisitor Lashona and Inquisitor Bauer, both playing a relevant role in some of the random encounters around Kryta.
I bet next will be Greaves the Overbearing and High Inquisitor Toriimo.

The real issue is this statement from the last update:
"Rebalanced the rewards for completing Wanted by the Shining Blade quests"
The issue is nothing has changed, the rewards still either 4 supplies or 15 supplies. This shows me either that there is a bug seeing how the rewards were not improved, or that this was a error on the update notes. Personally I'd love to response to if things are working as planned or that there is should have been higher rewards than there are now.

Shadowmoon's got it right. Please read properly. Even if we are fighting varyious ranks the fact the rewards suck, all the update did was trash the courier rewards.

Or maybe the courier rewards kinda spoiled us? I don't think they meant it to be that people had stack and stacks after the first day the couriers were there.
For me I just wanna know what the medals are for, kinda holding on to my very limited war supplies and I hope that's the right thing to do.

ANet has been forced to do many things. Which explains the current state of the game - which is a complete mess. Remember how GvG was screwed up over the monthly Xunlai house business? I'll never make the mistake of assuming that ANet cares about their players; ever again.

What rewards? Did I miss something?
Supplies themselves are not exactly great consumables, more of way to let em be spent when you do not want to use them to buy stuff. No point farming them.
Royal gifts are not that great either. It is just sink to remove excesive supplies from game with promise of rare stuff.
Bounty rewards are not have meaning yet. We do not know what medals are going to be used for, what quanity is boing to be required etc ...
We have absolutelly nothing to base quality of rewards on yet.
This is as if people farmed DoA gems and did not know what is armbrace for and complained about droprate and that coffers drop xp scroll junk.

To be honest, a few weeks ago I finally "quit" the game due to its stagnation. Once the new bounties and courier were brought into the mix, I came back to check it out. "Oh look, new drops, new content, new rewards, new things to do." That warm and fuzzy feeling lasted what, a few days?
The rewards do not match the effort needed, period. The courier isn't worth the time or hassle whatsoever, and the 3/1 bounties are a joke. Thanks ANet, I'm heading back into retirement.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that (Yesterday was the first day I could be arsed to care).
There goes any enthusiasm I had for this stuff.

This. I don't care whether the mob-of-the-day is low on the Mantle totem pole. If I have to fight through dozens of HM Peacekeepers, it needs to be more than 4 war supplies as a frelling reward.
